That's Tom “Red” Martin.
That's the heart of Cramer.
And it is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our founder Tom “Red” Martin. He faced his illness as he lived his life – with grit, grace, and supported by his loving family and friends.
Tom started Cramer in 1982. He didn’t just build a company. He created a legacy. We are honored to continue the work he began and nurtured.
There are so many stories to tell about Tom. His philanthropy. His business acumen. His countless acts of kindness. His athletic fame as a collegiate All-American, as two-time Beanpot winner for Boston College, and as assistant captain of the 1964 U.S. Olympic Hockey team.
We created a video to capture some of these special times.
To his wife June, his children TJ, Tim, Chris, Shawn, Greg, Julie, Pat, and their spouses, and his 22 grandchildren, we say thank you for sharing Tom with us.
He was one of the good guys. Always to be admired. Never to be forgotten. Forever the heart of Cramer.
